Premiile Oscar 2023 au avut loc aseară la Los Angeles, cu Everything Everywhere All At Once în fruntea câștigătorilor. Ceremonia a avut loc la Dolby Theatre din Hollywood și a fost prezentată de Jimmy Kimmel. În România, premiile au fost transmise live azi-noapte, începând cu ora 2:30.
Everything Everywhere All At Once a fost marele câștigător al serii, adunând șapte premii. Printre acestea s-au numărat cel mai bun film, cea mai bună actriță (Michelle Yeoh), cea mai bună regie, cel mai bun actor în rol secundar (Ke Huy Quan), cea mai bună actriță în rol secundar (Jamie Lee Curtis) și multe altele, relatează NME Australia.
În discursul de acceptare a premiului, Quan a reflectat asupra drumului său până la câștigarea primului său Oscar, numindu-l „visul American”.
După ce și-a ridicat trofeul, Curtis a discutat despre incluziunea la Oscaruri și a cerut să existe „mai multe femei oriunde, oricând, toate odată”.
Printre ceilalți câștigători ai serii s-au numărat All Quiet On The Western Front, care a obținut patru premii, inclusiv cel pentru cel mai bun film internațional, și Brendan Fraser, care a obținut primul său Oscar pentru rolul din „The Whale”.
Au cântat Rihanna, Lady Gaga și David Byrne, Son Lux și Stephanie Hsu. Ultimul trio a interpretat piesa „This Is A Life” de pe piesa Everything Everywhere All At Once, iar Byrne a îmbrăcat celebrele degete de hot dog din film.
